Warfard to speak at Harvest Christian Fellowship this weekend
Evangelist Dea Warford from Santa Fe Springs, CA has trained church groups in personal evangelism methods, served as guest Bible College lecturer, trained pastors, and has held divine healing crusades, revival services and prayer conferences.

Job Fair set for Saturday
The 2015 Vinton Community Job Fair will take place from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 9, at the Vinton Skate Center.
Admission is free for this event, which is sponsored by Vinton Unlimited. More than a dozen area businesses have agreed to participate; information about resumes and other job-seeking skills will be available.
VSHS Fine Arts night set for May 12
As the school year comes to a close, the High School would like to invite you to our Fine Arts Night, on Tuesday, May 12 at 7:00pm in the high school auditorium, featuring art, music and drama students. Doors to the Commons to view the Art Show will be open at 6:00pm, seating for the Band and Choir Concert will start at 6:30pm. Come and enjoy a night of visual and performing arts and support our fine students as they receive awards and recognition and say farewell to the seniors.
Vinton Garden Club plant sale set for Friday
The Vinton Garden Club annual plant sale is scheduled for Friday, May 8th, at the Benton County Fairgrounds in the open class building. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The members are busy potting up perennial plants for the public to purchase.
Club President Fran Stueck said, “I would buy plants from someone locally that has been growing them in their garden, because you know they are hardy in this area.

One day only sale is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, in the Library basement at 720 Main Street. Because of construction, please use the Library’s main entrance. Hard cover books 50 cents, paperbacks a quarter, magazines a dime, DVDs 50 cents and VHS tapes a dime. Friends uses proceeds for Library programming, supplies and equipment.
